Istanbul Residents Vote In Early Elections

Turkish citizens headed to the polls to elect a new president and parliament on June 24. Voters in Istanbul lined up outside polling stations from early morning. The early elections had been called by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who advocates the country's transition from a parliamentary to a presidential system.
